changing out the differential oil in a front wheel drive
Hello eveveryone,
I have a question which i have not been able to find the answer to. I have a 2006 toyota corolla with an automatiic transmission {model a245e}. I replaced my transmission fluid and was told that this transmission has a seperate differerntial which also needs to be serivce is this true? I was informed that the diff uses gear oil. The earlier model corolla's had a a240 transmission and they used the regular transmission fluid to lube the diff. I called the dealer and they can't tell me if it is so. Maybe someone here has the answer.
