    Question Standard Procedures

We are always reminded of the standard testing procedures before using our vehicles like: Check the brakes, check the lights, check the oils, check the water, check the gas. Do you routinely do all these if you drive the same car daily? Is it safe to do it only once a week?

I often don't check the fluid levels unless I'm aware of a problem. Lately I've been checking my tires because I seem to have a very slow leak.

I think it's especially important to check things out if you have a trailer attached, or a load on top of a car or in a pickup. Even snow falling off a transport truck can cause problems on an expressway especially.
