Hmm... So far the best answer I for me is Kotosof's. I mean if I know how to fix my car and ask someone to do so, I'm sure I would easily notice if the mechanic is lying about the matter or not.

    Default Better Business Mechanics

When I look for a mechanic in Denver, the very first thing that I look for is if they are a part of the Better Business Bureau. The company will have a BBB logo if they are members. I have always had better luck with these repair shops.

The best way I have found to find a good mechanic is to use the one that can't get to your car right away. It usually means that they have so many return customers that they have a waiting period. Good luck!

I've found good mechanics from referrals from others within the industry, llike other mechanics or tire busters.

You should ask first with your office mates, or friends who live in the area as good mechanics are known with their reputation.

    Default Hi

Ask someone you know in the area where are the good auto shops in your town. It is always good to ask opinions and second opinions. Sometimes mechanics tends to overprice their services when they know that you are new to the area. But if you do not know anyone in town then better go to a more famous auto repair shop nearby.

Try searching online for auto repair shop reviews, or ask around. General referrals can help you find an honest mechanic.
