    Default E40D External Cooler Installation

installing a new E40D tranny in a 1991 Ford F250 and wondering what the flow direction is on the tranny fluid?

The two lines that currently attach to the tranny has one in front and one towards the rear.

Our addin cooler kit came with an inline filter just not sure what way the flow is to make sure we get the filter in the correct direction.

Well the issue isnt hook it to the one in the front or that back , the direction of flow is all that I need to know since the filter is designed to work with a specific flow.

I am guessing the cool fluid goes into the front of the tranny near the bell housing and the hot fluid goes out at the rear near the transfer case but this is just a guess.

The flow is what I need to know.
