ok, odd question...or at least i've never seen this before. My girlfriend just got a new car (02 buick lesabre) and after the car is started we're getting that annoying "ding" noise, or "door open" charm or whatever you wanna call it, like if you leave the key in the ignition with the door open... But the noise wont go away. You can drive 20 minutes and the noise wont go away.

The brake light is on though. Those 2 things wouldn't be related would they? I'll be checking the brakes tomorrow, but the fluid level was good, so i know the light's not on due to low fluid.
