Thread: how to fix squeaky brakes

My brother's brakes squeak when he's sitting still and press on the brake pedal. He is not sure if it is caused by friction between the pad and rotors. What do you think? Anybody knows how to fix it?

Did your brother ask help from an expert? I have a friend that encountered a brake problem too. Even though, it was brand new, the company used a bad mixture for the pad. What do you think is the best thing to do this, anybody knows?
