Thread: Gas gauge

My friend usually has his car's gas gauge at 3/4 full. Recently, he observed that whether he runs out of gas or filled it up, it is always on 3/4 tank. How could we fix this problem?

You mean his gas gauge always displayed 3/4 fuel? My cousin had a similar problem with this before. Maybe, his gauge had break in the wire going to the dash. Did he ever tried to check it?

Something has gone wrong with the float on the tank that measures the fuel volume. Have it fixed.
