    Default Old Boat!

    My dad has an old boat that has not been used in a while. The shell seems to be pretty good, but I don't know about the motor etc. Is there a way to test the working components without travelling to the lake?

    You could ask a mechanic to test the engine for you. Maybe the engine needs to be tuned up.

    Can't you hook up a hose to the motor and simulate the boat being in the water?
