Thread: Car Suddenly Wont Start

Hello everyone!

I'm hoping some one will recognize what I'm about to describe and respond with a relatively simple and inexpensive fix (fingers crossed!)

This morning I could not start my 2005 Kia Optima (V6). The engine does not even try to turn over at all and I don't hear anything coming from the engine. The electrical systems seem to work. I get radio and all that jazz. One odd thing I noticed is that my gas door will not open. There is a button in the car to open it and pushing it does nothing. Usually it will work and the car doesn't even have to be on.

I'm wondering if maybe it's a bad fuse somewhere. There is a chance that someone could have gotten under my hood last night and taken something. I live in a neighborhood where that happens sometimes. Does anyone have any ideas of what may be wrong, or have any suggestions about what I should check first?

Make sure your battery is full charged and then check your fuses.
