    where is the oil pump located on a 2006 gmc sierra pickup? is it in front of the engine or in the oil pan?

    dont matter what engine in the oil pan . if you dont see oil presure in the dash make sure to test the sending unit first , if you pull the pan check the pick up screen for sludge buildup. very uncommon for 06 gm product oil pump to fail should find cause
