Thread: 727 tranny

i swapped a 2.5l motor in my 88yj wrangler with a 5.2l v8 out of a 93 jeep grand cherokee. The tranny that come with that motor was a 46 rh and is way to long for my wheel base and will not work. I have been looking into the 727 tranny but has not been real easy to find.

Wondering if anyone knows what other options for tranny's that will bolt up to the new motor, or any help that can put me in the right direction since i have come to a stand still on this project

You have no choice 727 is just as long you have to go original
