got this mundano that won't start. Was fine until short stop then wouldn't restart. Tacho not moving on cranking. Does not appear to have fuel or spark. Wiring to cam and crank sensor has insulation broken down. Have reinsulated but still no go. Have tried and failed to get a multimeter reading from crank sensor by passing a spanner across it to trigger. Had a novice use Ford's scanner tool on it but he couldn't access ECM. All fuses seem ok. Could ECM have been fried by poor wiring and also taken out crank sensor? Any help appreciated. I have no Ford knowledge unfortunately.
