    Default Brake Noise

I drove some distance yesterday and my brakes began making a terrible noise. Sort of a squealy grinding noise. Today they have made no noise at all. Should I be concerned?

I guess, it should still be better to double check your brake before using your car. Do you think their is no damage or problem with your brake yet? My aunt had encountered the same situation with you and it undergone a repair.

Maybe your Brake pads are worn out. If the pads are worn out, everytime you stepped on the brake pedal, the metal part of the pads will grind againts the brake drum. Try to check the pads.

Better have the mechanic check your brake system. It's something you don't just ignore.

Well, yes and no actually. Squeaky grinding sound right? Yes if your brake pads aren't new. And no if they're new. Newly replaced breaking pads have a tendency always to make a that kind of noise. Take care!

So what was the result of your grandma's car? Is it really broken or something?

Of course you should. What if your breaks are getting weaker of something else terrible?

Not all broken parts should be under repair by a mechanic. Other can be fixed just by us alone.
