Thread: Car's crankshaft bolt

My nephew would like to know, what could be the right way to take off a crankshaft bolt? Is it turned clockwise or counter clockwise? What could be the best way to remove the crankshaft pulley? Any information is appreciated.

Turn it counterclockwise. You will probably need a long pull bar or torque wrench to get enough leverage to break it loose. Then you need to rent pulley puller to remove the pulley.
