    Default Corolla Starter

    I had the starter in my 1999 corolla replaced last August. It was professionally installed by recommended repair shop. Now my car is randomly demonstrating difficulties starting. Could this be something other than my starter? Do they go bad that quickly?

    No, they don't. Unless you're mechanic made a mistake when doing it. Have you checked the wiring of your starter? Most problem comes from that. Check there first.

    OK. Thanks. My mechanic is a pretty good one, came highly recommended. I'll get the wiring checked and go from there.
