Fuel filter
My friend bought a 2001 Honda Civic and needed some advice with regard to maintenance. As of the moment, she learned how to replace the rotor, plugs, wires and distributor cap. She wanted to replace the fuel filter. She is quite bothered with the gas lines if it needs pressure. Where do you think she should start?

Yes it does. Did she already locate where it is? Most of the times its with the carburetor.

So, the gas line needs pressure, it seems were not quite familiar with this information yet.
We will try to check the carburetor if the fuel filter is located there. Do you know how to replace the fuel filter? What's the next thing we should do?

Hi bethoven, there are steps in replacing your fuel filter. First, you have to relieve the pressure in your fuel lines and fuel filter. Second, you are going to use wrenches to unbolt the fuel filter fittings. Third, easily remove the old fuel filter. Fourth, closely observe the position of old fuel filter before removing it because you have place the new one in the same position. Fifth, don't forget to change the washers too. Sixth, take the new fuel filter and place it at its position. And lastly, start the engine to check.
This steps to change fuel filters are easy, but need to be followed carefully. Change your car's fuel filter to enjoy longer and trouble free drive.
I hope it would help you solve your problem. What do you think?
