    Default Tire Issue

    Hello Everyone,

We were driving late last night, a little rain was pouring and the highway was wet from the rain pour.

My aunt felt that we were wiggling a little and she ask me if I feel the wiggling of the car. I actually felt that wiggling sensation after some minutes in the highway, I thought it was just because of the wet roadway, so I didn't tell anything.

We found a vulcanizing shop along the road and we ask the mechanic to check our tires, good thing we did that because our tires have different air pressure inside (if it was air pressure, i don't know how to call it).

On our way home, we open the windows for more fresh air, then I heard the squeaking sound of the tire, on the right back side of the car, my aunt told me that she would just have to go see her mechanic and ask him to check the break pads.

Now I know, I really need to learn a whole lot about mechanic.

    Thanks to this forum.

    Hi,

Tires can cause these kind of problem due to wetness. Better please check your tires alignment and it's bearings. Hope it works.

You really have to learn how to maintain your own car. Its not like you can always run to a mechanic all every there's a problem with your car.

There is some concern about the tires. The track did not rubber in at all today during the races and that is a cause for concern. There were a few tire issues today in both races because the racetrack was still green from all the rain, but not widespread issues like at Indy last year. The Nationwide and Trucks have limited sets of tires to use each race so they don't get to change tires as often as the Cup cars. However, the Cup cars are much tougher on tires than the other two series. My opinion is there will be a few teams that have issues due to aggressive set-ups, but most teams should be ok.

Hi. Excuse me but are you talking about a race car and not krineykring's car?

It is best to have some basic knowledge about car troubleshooting if you are driving. Cars give out symptoms of troubles that most uneducated drivers do not know about until its too late.
