    Default Carburators?

Is there a difference with an electric based carburetor and a plate based carburetor?

Yeah there is. Electronic Carburetors are powered by electricity which is used now in all vehicles with gasoline fuel. It’s the modern use nowadays and the based type is the type of carburetor that uses two pins, one for the gas and one for the air.

I think the only difference of electric type carburetor to a based one is that the former is more efficient than the later.

so which is more better to have a electronic or a plate based carburetor? my mitsubishi SUV have electric carburetors but i was able to notice that my suzuki plate based carburetors have higher maintenance compared to the electric carburetors for the reason that i keep on changing the contact point.

Go for the electronic one because it has the low maintenance and it is powered by computer box.

I'll go for the base type so that I can tune it the way I want it to.
