Either it's high compression or low compression. Try to check for the compression ratio of your vehicle.

Maybe you have a wrong timing engine, the timing belt patterns not right.

it's not the compression because i just had it overhauled, well after overhauling the engine tuneup is on a regular basis till the engine was able to break in. I'll check with the timing maybe that's wrong with it. any other reasons as to why it is backfiring?

Try checking your Spark plugs, maybe one of it is not working.

Is it a belt or chain type of timing belt?

That has to be the timing belt.

    Hi,

I never face this kind of problem with my vehicle. But my suggestion is please check your vehicle to a mechanic.

Most likely its the timing belt in motorcycles but you could also probably just have mistaken on starting it. Better look out for that.

Hmm... That's just the timing belt. Or, you're having problems starting it.
