    Default Weird smoke

Hi there! Okay. I've been using my car now for 2 years and this is the first time I ever encountered a car emitting colored smoke. Its somewhat green or blue sometimes. So far there's nothing wrong with my car. I still do the same maintenance with everything too from mechanical to oils and engines. What could this mean? I didn't put anything else on my tank either.

thats odd. colored smoke? that new for me. Anyway, i usually encouter white or black smoke especially if there is a problem with the compression of the engine. Have you placed STP's or engine flush in your engine? how about bio fuels? try answering testions of the questions of danny and will try to figure this out. ok

Jeez... I'm sorry but I don't know since when this car was made. I've bought it 2 or 3 years ago and it was brand new. Don't know about the engine size too. It has manual transmission. My car is Kia Pride.

I don't see any problems with those so far and I'm using unleaded all the time.

Is it bluish in Color? Because it’s normal to an engine to have bluish exhaust, but green? It’s the first time I heard of green smoke.

I suggest you check on your exhaust if there’s oil, maybe its green because the oil is leaking on the cylinder head and goes to combustion chamber.

Indeed, blue smoke usually indicates burning oil.

I think blue smoke is normal on the exhaust, and it's a sign of good combustion am i right?
