is this the main boom in the dump truck or the accessory booms that allows it to side dump?

its the main boom that keeps on leaking every time i dump gravel and sand the hydraulic oil squirts like a water gun. I already brought it to two mechanics and both of them replaced the boom assembly packing and yet after two months the same problems occured. i can't afford to have another problem like this because its costly to have it repaired. what is the best solution?

well if its the main boom that's always the problem why don't you try and if its feasible replace the main boom with a new or surplus one. you could check it out in spareparts stores and others. i don't personally own a truck but our home is located near a construction heavy equipment depot and i've seen them replacing main boomks of all kinds of heavy equipment coz according to the owner it is indeed costly to repair the booms and most of the time the problem recurs every few months. what do you think?

Why don't you just try selling the truck and getting another one second hand?

Do you think it will be more convenient if he sell it? Do you think second hand is a good choice for him?

    Default Hydraulic Problems.

    Hi,

This is a problem which can cause a bigger problem for you anytime. Better go to a mechanic as soon as possible.
